The PDO office which is newly built was inaugurated at the occasion of the conclusion of the extra-ordinary visitation. Fr. Americo, the regional for Africa-Madagascar was the main celebrant for the blessing of this new construction. He solemnly conducted the blessing ceremony. At the presence of Fr. George Chalissery, the provincial and all the council members, he blessed the building. The Salesians from the neighbouring communities were also present. The Salesian Novices added real colour during the blessing with their singing, accompanied by Bro.Walter with guitar. The Salesian sisters from Lusaka graced the occasion. The support of the Salesian Cooperators was also very much felt. This turned to be a joyful occasion in togetherness of the salesian family. Br. Walter SDB, the Economer thanked all those good souls who were behind in this construction of PDO Office.
In a special way he remembered Fr. Loius Malama SDB, the former Economer who initiated this project of building the PDO office. The building look strong and spacious. It is very much needed to do our work more efficiently. We need to thank all the benefactors who are supporting us in different ways possible.
