Don Bosco Makululu Community is a School, Home, Church and a play ground for the Children around Makululu. Makululu is one of the largest Slams in the world and consequently the first largest Slam in Zambia. Makululu which is about 1.10 km squared with a population of more than 5000 people per square kilometer from last Census that was conducted. In the recent past, the Salesians had opened the home for the Young people who are in danger and vulnerable. The Salesians also provide basic education as part of the mission to support the less privileged in the Society. Moreover, Makululu provides sporting and recreational facilities and support to the young people in the community, providing guidance human formation and cultural activities.
