Makeni Novitiate community also called the “Power House” of the province is a home of the young people who are beginning their first step in the life of the Salesians of Don Bosco. These young people come from Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Namibia to mention but a few. Beside prayer life, the community welcomes young people from around the area for various activities around the center.
